Project Overview
A Slack/Trello hybrid for small teams: chat rooms, live notifications, and a board that stays in sync across clients. SignalR (.NET) or WebSockets push updates instantly, while Next.js with React Query or Zustand keeps complex frontend state fast. Persistence uses MongoDB or PostgreSQL with Supabase.
Challenge
REST APIs and shipment trackers already exist in the portfolio; what was missing is modern live communication — rooms, presence, and a shared board without stale UI or janky state.
Solution
I built a small project workspace on SignalR (.NET) or WebSockets, with Next.js plus React Query or Zustand for client state. Rooms, notifications, and the board update in real time; MongoDB or PostgreSQL with Supabase persist messages and cards.
Result
Clients see mastery of WebSockets and complex frontend state: chat and the board stay consistent under live traffic without performance collapse.
